CA Chester - Our Feathered Friends Series!

Hi all!

Here's an update on this super series nestled in the Sierras!

We managed to find all 4 boxes after a total of about 3 hours walking
(one way!) with my 8 and 5 year olds in tow!! The path is fairly
flat, and provides some spectaclar views of the lake and Mt Lassen!!

Here's a breakdown of the 4 boxes:

Box 1 well-hidden - outer bag torn, probably by one of the
approximately 6 billion chipmunks that inhabit the area!

Box 2 - in good shape, but the outer bag had about three ounces of
yellow liquid inside it (you can come to your own conclusion) Cleaned
out the bag and replaced.

Box 3 - sitting out in the open with no outer bag(!) Probably one of
the aforementioned forest creatures looking for a treat. Rehid
accordsing to the clues.

Box 4 - very well hidden!

All you NorCal - NW LBers - this is definitely a series well-worth
the trip!

We found first finder certificates intact for all 4 boxes!

Oops - what's a first finder certificate? Should I be adding it to
my letterbox?

Doh! You beat me to the first finders by a week-and-a-half!

I have a couple of boxes ready to plant in that area. They will be going in next week but I won't be able to post clues till the week after that.
